My team was tasked with building a fully responsive car review website that would allow people to pay a membership fee and access users car reviews. We chose to build this using the MERN stack. Using a flat art design with minimalist features allowed for a simple intuitive user experience. Integrating with the stripe api we were able to accept payments with automatic-billing for subscriptions.

The addition of Redux-Saga as well as TypeScript into our project was slowing down my production time. I decided to build a small project to help cement these new skills using the NASA API I was able to increase my understanding of TypeScript and Redux-Saga 3 fold and ended up increasing production time by almost double.

Task with taking an existing Etsy store and turning it into its own stand alone web-app I designed and built the landing page in react, react router and react-strap to allow the owner to visualize the look and feel of the new web-app. Completed all estimations on project as well as explaining the time needed to complete desired web-app and all functionality included. Owner opted to continue with Etsy store until more funds were available to justify ROI.
